As promised I am showing you the Piggy bank I have made for my son Mark.
Today I am showing a piggy bank I made for my son Mark.
I am new to Mixed Media, but love to try and learn. For this project I
used an old wood box from memory game and painted it with Papericious
new Black Gesso. Afterwords I covered all sides with new release of
paper pack Azealian. I thought this pattern reminds me of Sand and
dessert so I went through my sons rubber toys and found a Lizard. I
painted with same black gesso and then made highlights with inka gold.
Rest of the box I decorated with new Chipboards Honeycomb collage. I love their quality since they are quiet thick.
Beautiful patterns make this project look so cool.
Lets start with the paper packs. 1) AZEALIAN: A
fresh new colour combo with the classic retro style. A super pretty
combo of teal, yellow and black. This is for all those who asked me
for geometric patterns and for those who wanted watercolor effect in
papers. These are general patterns which will enhance the beauty of your
creations. Designer Edition: MRP 520/-
2) INDIE CHIC: A colourful range of pattern papers for all those
who wanted marble effect papers, dreamcatchers and some bright colors.
This time we have 2 colored cardstocks, 6 of each sheet included in the
pack. Premium Edition. MRP 700/-
Many Thanks to HUSSENA CALCUTTAWALA for helping me out with the names of both the paper packs.
After the overwhelming response for our new Art Mediums, we have come up with big jars (250g). They are pocket friendly too. MRP 380/- each jar.
Hello my friends. I made this card with inspiration from Dawn Gribbith. I used Let`s go paper pack. It has a
Travel theme. This card is for my Dad's birthday. He will receive a
flight ticket from my family.
I cut the strip 13,5 cm x 5,5 cm. and I scored at 1,5 cm as shown. I
glued the smaller part to the back of the card and the wider part will
be shown on the front and will be used as small pocket.
For the paper be able to be stuck behind the pocket, i used a staple. It
is important not to staple throw the front paper. Do cut the front
paper shorter so you will have a space from the bottom (about 1,5 cm).
Now it time to design the front of the card. I used a stamp with suitable subject.
I wanted to have clean design so I used only three colors: white black and red. This paper pack have great patterns!
That the front of the card. As you can see the front paper is stopped into the front pocket.
The text is in Swedish and it says: Enjoy every minute.
When you take out the front paper, that what you see: Short message and I
will put a note inside the pocket where it will be said : Ticket to
I have made this Shadow box for a dear friend of mine for her 40's birth day.
I really hope She will like it.
Here I used the Die cuts from the Whimsical pack and I cut few of the same flowers to make 3D layers. I chalked with vintage photo Distress and I used my Blending tools.
I added some Shabby Bricks from chipboard collection to give it more feeling of the house wall.
I used some White gesso on the bricks.
At the bottom you can see the new beautiful collection of the fabric flowers.
I added som small bottles for the decorations and filled them up with some white sequins.
On the big bottle on the right I added number 40 since she turning 40. I
preferred to make those as small as possible so she wont feel as 40. :)
Here you can see the close up for the die cuts.At the window I used same fabric flowers to make a curtain.
The backside of the box: I cut the beautiful card from the Whimsical and
made is as packet. Inside I cut some 2 tags if she would like to write
Here is the front of the Shadow box. The background of the box is a pattern from Whimsical. Just gorgeous colors and design.
